 | Sub League 1 Names Top Player Monday, May 30th, 2033 So far in his young career, Dirk Hides has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Sub League 1 in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Anaheim Red Angels left fielder hit at a torrid .435 clip as he collected 10 hits in 23 at-bats, 1 home run, 5 RBIs and 5 runs scored. This season Hides has delivered 40 hits in 123 at-bats for a .325 average with 6 home runs. He is getting on base at a .393 clip and his totals also include 29 RBIs and 22 runs scored.
