 | Brainiacs End McKee's Streak Monday, July 4th, 2033 The Des Peres Brainiacs got more than the 9-7 victory at Ballpark of Stockton today -- they also put an end to the 23-game hitting streak of Stockton Bees first baseman Bradley McKee by holding him without a hit in 5 at-bats. After the game, McKee seemed more concerned with his team taking the loss than with the demise of his streak. "I had some great looks at some pitches that I should have hit," he said. "I missed some that I shouldn't have swung at. All in all, I wasn't much help with the bat today." This season McKee has hit at a .309 clip with 44 RBIs, 3 home runs and 25 runs scored. |   |
