Hit Streak Now at 30 for Waddell
Sunday, July 15th, 2029
The Anaheim Red Angels may have proven to be mere mortals today as they lost 9-4 to the Worcester Ruby Legs, but Phil Waddell continued to hit like a god.

The right fielder collected 1 hit in 4 at-bats in the loss and extended his hitting streak to 30 games.

"Waddell is playing great and is on fire right now," Red Angels manager Richard Bowden said. "Hopefully his play can spark the rest of our team and help us pick up some wins."

Waddell was apparently not happy with the game and when pressed by reporters in the locker room only said "nothing else matters but the loss."
Phil Waddell grounded out in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, tripled in the 7th and flied out in the 8th.
