 | League Punishes Pair for Fighting Monday, July 18th, 2033 If there wasn't a history between Ramón Rodríguez of La Jolla and Matt Terry of Thunder Bay, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 3 and 6 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Rodríguez said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." Rodríguez has a .266 average and a .361 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 45 hits, 3 home runs and driven in 19 runs. In 21 starts this season Terry has crafted a 9-8 record with a 2.80 ERA. |   |
