 | Big Day for Krause: Swats 5 Hits Tuesday, April 19th, 2033 It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Kyle Krause today. Krause went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Ventura pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at Gulls Ballpark, he had a 5-for-5 line and a day he will long remember. And the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes had a 10-2 victory over the Gulls. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview. Kyle Krause singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Juan Luis Cuevas in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, walked in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. So far this season Krause has gotten 25 hits in 71 at-bats for a .352 batting average with 2 home runs. His stats include 14 RBIs and 11 runs scored. He has played in 17 games. |   |
