SL1 Announces Player of the Week Monday, June 25th, 2029 19-year-old Brian Woods made a few Kirkwood headlines during this past week as the rookie shortstop proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Sub League 1 officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 12 hits in 32 at-bats to put up a .375 average. Woods collected no home runs, 1 RBIs and scored 3 runs. This season in 36 games Woods is batting .315 with no home runs, 8 RBIs and has scored 16 times. |
