The 21-year-old second baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Sub League 1 Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .450 average (9-for-20) with 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and 7 runs scored. This season Simmons is batting .279 with 50 hits, 4 home runs, 28 RBIs, 31 walks, .403 OBP and has scored 31 runs.
