 | SL2 Awards Best Batter Prize to Davenport Monday, July 18th, 2033 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Sub League 2, but last week Brenton Davenport of the Las Vegas 51s reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Davenport rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (8-for-16), 1 home run and 5 RBIs to come away with the award. This season Davenport is hitting .295 with 2 home runs. |   |
