| Super Season, Chu Wins Outstanding Hitter Award Saturday, September 3rd, 2033 The manager of the Orlando Samurai said he thinks Tal-hun Chu is only going to get better as he gets older.
He may only be 17, but it will be hard to top the second baseman's 2033 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Sub League 1 Outstanding Hitter Award.
His winning campaign featured a .307 batting average and a .357 on-base percentage this year. In 119 games he piled up 149 hits, 25 doubles, 9 triples, no home runs, 53 RBIs and 58 runs scored.
He received 7 first place votes out of a possible 12. Toby Gordam of the Kirkwood Ritters finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Jonathan Carrillo of the Orlando Samurai finished third.
