 | League Punishes Pair for Fighting Friday, June 23rd, 2034 Fred Olson of Montebello and Coy Bowman of Colorado Springs were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Olson will have to miss 4 games for his part in the brawl, while Bowman was given 2 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. So far this year Olson has 6 home runs and a .241 batting average. This year Bowman has chalked up a 4.84 ERA with no saves. In 9 relief appearances he has put up a 3-3 won-lost mark and struck out 66 batters in 61.1 innings. |   |
