 | SL2's Top Player, Rúbio of Millers Creek Monday, July 10th, 2034 20-year-old César Rúbio made a few Millers Creek headlines during this past week as the rookie first baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Sub League 2 officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 10 hits in 30 at-bats to put up a .333 average. Rúbio collected 1 home run, 6 RBIs and scored 4 runs. So far this season Rúbio is hitting .302 with 15 home runs. |   |
