 | SL1 Honors Montebello Shortstop Monday, June 19th, 2034 So far in his young career, Darrell Rivard has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Sub League 1 in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Montebello Tostadas Calientes shortstop hit at a torrid .435 clip as he collected 10 hits in 23 at-bats, no home runs, 2 RBIs and 3 runs scored. In 40 games this season Rivard has batted at a .261 pace with 29 hits and 1 home run. |   |
