In the Ocean Park's 8-3 win over Thunder Bay today, second baseman Joe Lyons was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Ballpark of Thunder Bay. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Lyons said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Joe Lyons singled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and singled in the 8th. So far this year Lyons has hit .240 with no home runs, 9 RBIs and 17 runs scored. |   |
