 | Ochoa Voted Best SL1 Pitcher in July Tuesday, August 1st, 2034 In July, José Ochoa tore through the Sub League 1 like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 23 years old. The young Duarte starter posted a 4-0 mark and an ERA of 1.91 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 33 innings he collected 35 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .175 average.
