For his spectacular campaign, the Des Moines Riverboats star has been named the 2034 Sub League 2 Outstanding Hitter Award recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the first baseman.
On the season he compiled a .323 batting average to go with a .428 on-base percentage. The native of Phoenix, Arizona also added 23 doubles, 3 triples, 10 home runs, 79 RBIs and 58 runs scored.
He received 10 first place votes out of a possible 12. Tomás Rodríguez of the Des Moines Riverboats finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Cândido Roxa of the Des Moines Riverboats finished third.
