 | Cuevas Nets SL1 #1 Pitcher Award Thursday, June 1st, 2034 Over the past month Juan Luis Cuevas has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Sub League 1. He proved all that and now he's been named May's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Ventura Gulls posted 3-0 mark and a 1.38 ERA. In 6 starts he tossed 32.2 innings, permitted 18 hits and fanned 32 batters. This year Cuevas has gone 4-4 with an ERA of 2.85 and has 70 strikeouts in 66.1 innings. |   |
