 | Hayagawa Pitches Gem against Niigata Tuesday, August 8th, 2034 Matsuyama Miracle hurler Yasukazu Hayagawa was stingy with runs in his latest outing against the Niigata Cardinals, shutting them out 4-0 on 5 hits. "Yasukazu was very aggressive tonight," Matsuyama manager Ryutaro Hagiwara said. "He threw everything he had with a lot of confidence." Through 9 innings, Hayagawa tallied 4 strikeouts and allowed no walks. "He was throwing strikes with all his pitches and mixing it up well," losing manager Freddie Lewis said.
