 | Kichida Sensational, 5-for-7 Thursday, August 31st, 2034 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Tanzan Kichida today -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Ballpark of Ageo and paced the Miracle to a 4-3 win over the Ageo Revolt. After his dynamite batting performance, the Matsuyama first baseman told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 7 tries and put his name in the record book. Tanzan Kichida doubled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 7th, singled in the 9th, struck out in the 12th and singled in the 14th.
