 | Whales, Stars Make Trade Thursday, December 29th, 2033 Both sides appear content with the trade finalized today that will send 35-year-old C Delaney Waters and 18-year-old minor league RHP Haywood Wemp to the Hollywood Stars, while the Chicago Whales will receive 26-year-old RF Dwayne Mullett and 23-year-old minor league LHP Frank Farrell. "This is a move that filled a few gaps in our roster," said Floyd Gerard, Whales general manager. For his part, the Stars GM said the trade was made "in the best interest of our organization's future." BNN analysts reported that on paper the trade seemed to be a plus for both ball clubs. In his 1382-game career, Waters has hit at a .250 clip and collected 907 hits with 229 doubles, 2 triples, 112 homers, and 548 RBIs. |   |
