| Redbirds Shut Out Perfectos | The Rochester Redbirds got a strong performance from pitcher Alberto Ramos, who stymied the St. Louis offense en route to a 3-0 win at Juliet Gunn Field. Rochester goes to 18-10 with the win.
Rochester used the timely hitting of Yasujiro Yoshioka to capture the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Redbirds on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but he made it count.
"The more wins we pile up," said Yoshioka, "the more I like our chances."
