| Seattle Bats Go Silent in 6-0 Loss | The Rochester Redbirds got a good effort from starter Alberto Ramos in defeating the Seattle Pilots at Rochester Stadium. The final score was 6-0. Rochester has now won 3 in a row.
The Redbirds got a big at-bat from first baseman Nathaniel Burns. For the game, Burns was 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Rochester a 2-0 lead.
Ramos told a Rochester Herald reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
