| Oaks Squelch Superbas Offense in Shutout Win | Oakland right-hander Adrian Dunn pitched his team to victory over the Brooklyn Superbas at Monster Park. The final score was 3-0. Oakland is now 29-31, while Brooklyn is 32-31.
Oakland took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning. With one out, catcher Akihiko Kobayashi hit a solo home run that set the crowd abuzz.
"It feels good to get this one," Dunn told the Oakland Gazette.
