| Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Spiders | Hollywood left fielder Roberto Salinas had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 5-4, to Cleveland at Sockalexis Stadium. Salinas was 3 for 3 with 3 singles and a walk. The Spiders bumped their record to 36-28 with this latest triumph.
The game was at a stalemate until left fielder Jeremy Beasley came to bat in the bottom of the tenth. Facing Hollywood pitcher Mike Henderson, he hit a 1-0 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Cleveland on top, 5-4.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Beasley said after the game.
