| Ohayashi, Stars Sink Redbirds Again in Game 2 | Riding the 2-hit performance of right fielder Shinji Ohayashi, the Hollywood Stars got a road win against the Rochester Redbirds, 7-4, in Game 2 of the League Championship Series today. Ohayashi was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Stars, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 0.
Hollywood grabbed control in the top of the seventh. With one out and the bases empty, Júlio Cortéz delivered a solo home run, to make it 3-2 in favor of the Stars.
"Winning breeds more winning, I guess," said Ohayashi.
The next game is scheduled for Saturday, October 7th, 2034. The scheduled starters for the game are Gonzalo Durán for the Rochester Redbirds and Mike Henderson for the the Hollywood Stars.
