| Hall Twirls Shutout | The Boston Beaneaters rolled to an easy 8-0 win over the Seattle Pilots at Koufax Park today. Leading the way to victory was starter Carl Hall, who shackled the Seattle Pilots and held them scoreless on a 1-hitter.
"This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Hall said in his postgame press conference.
Checking out his stats for the season, Hall has notched 10 wins and 4 losses in 16 starts, 2.97 ERA and struck out 121 batters in 112 innings. |
