| Quakers Lose, 3-1, at Manse Park | Brooklyn Superbas starter Cory Bush was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Philadelphia Quakers, 3-1. Ken O'Slattery, credited with the win, is now 2-1. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. The Superbas go to 39-42, putting them 5th in the Division 1.
César Flores, who is a eight-time All-Star, aided the Brooklyn cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the third baseman went 1-4.
