| Stars Take Nail-Biter Over Pilots | It was a good time at Gilmore Field, where fans came to watch the Seattle Pilots and Hollywood Stars get after it.
The Hollywood Stars beat the Seattle Pilots, 7-6, at Gilmore Field. The Stars got a fine performance from center fielder Trey Bychyk, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3-6 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The winner was Nelson Curry in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Nobuyori Sato took the loss.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 14th inning, when Hollywood third baseman Tom MacMenzies, facing Nobuyori Sato, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Stars the 7-6 win.
"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Bychyk said.
Hollywood currently is in 5th place in the Division 1 at 38-48.
