| Spiders Get Road Win, 7-6 | The Hollywood Stars got a sterling performance from right fielder Leon O'Donnell, but the Spiders still prevailed, 7-6. O'Donnell was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Brian Ewing, credited with the win, is now 6-8. He allowed 6 runs on 7 hits in 5 innings. With the win, the Spiders improved to 53-41.
