| Pilots Edge Perfectos, 3-2 | The St. Louis Perfectos got a sterling performance from pitcher Ichiro Yasuda, but the Pilots still prevailed, 3-2. Yasuda was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 7 innings of 5-hit ball. Seattle reliever Dong-ook Pak was the winner. His record is now 1-1. Darren Frazier took the loss. The Pilots bumped their record to 64-64 with this latest triumph.
Shane McDaniel's hit in the top of the 11th was a game-changer. With one out, he rapped a fastball from Álex Colón for a run-scoring double. It put Seattle in front, 3-2.
"We didn't go down without a fight," said St. Louis manager Mark Gunn.
