| Quakers Win at Cleveland, 7-1 | Getting an impressive start from Carlos Reyes, Philadelphia beat Cleveland by the score of 7-1. With the win over Cleveland, the Quakers improved to 71-55.
Jorge Méndez, who is tied for 7th in the GL in triples with 4, aided the Philadelphia cause with a grand slam home run in the top of the eighth. For the game, the second baseman was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Reyes said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
