| Liao Slugs Redbirds to 6-3 Win | Getting a good performance from left fielder Feng Liao, the Rochester Redbirds defeated the Seattle Pilots, 6-3. Liao was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Redbirds. The first-place Redbirds, at 71-56, now lead their division by 6˝ games.
Martín Guijosa hit a run-scoring double off Nobuyori Sato in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Redbirds in front, 4-3. In addition to the double, Guijosa had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
