| Salazar Now 10-10 After Subduing Whales | Hollywood pitcher Jesús Salazar did his part in helping his team beat the Chicago Whales, 2-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Berry Bychyk was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 15 of 16 save opportunities. The Stars now have a mark of 59-70.
Salazar, who was born in Malvern, Arkansas, threw 105 pitches over 8 innings, while allowing no earned runs.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Salazar said after the game.
