| Tight Tilt Goes to Redbirds, 3-2 | The Rochester Redbirds got a stellar performance from pitcher Matt Shaw, who handcuffed the Oakland offense en route to a 3-2 win at Monster Park. The Redbirds bumped their record to 73-60 with this latest triumph.
Shannon Hall, who is the 7th-best prospect in the Redbirds organization, aided the Rochester cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh. For the game, the right fielder went 2-4 with 2 singles.
