Pilots Continue Skid Thanks to Yoshioka, Whales

Benefiting from Yasujiro Yoshioka's productive game, the Chicago Whales downed the Seattle Pilots, 7-2. Yoshioka went 4-5 with a home run, a triple, and 2 singles. He scored 3 times for the Whales. Chicago reliever Millard Taylor picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Anthony Corban took the loss. Chicago now has a 3-game win streak.

Yoshioka had a big at-bat with the bases empty in the top of the eighth inning, when he hit a triple. The Whales went on to win.
