| Quakers Get Road Win, 6-1 | Jacob White pitched a gem to lead Philadelphia to a 6-1 victory over the Miami X Giants. The Quakers bumped their record to 76-59 with this latest triumph.
Had Jesús Huerta not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Huerta hit a 2-run single. That made the score 3-1, in favor of the Quakers.
"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Quakers manager Andruw Jones, "I like our chances."
