The exploits of left fielder Roberto Salinas, who is tied for 5th in the RL with a .294 batting average, helped the Hollywood Stars defeat the Chicago Whales, 10-2. Salinas went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The winning streak has now reached 5 games for Hollywood.

Hollywood needed the clutch hitting of Tom MacMenzies to notch the win. The third baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Stars on top, 3-1. For the game, MacMenzies had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
