| Bayou Rats Win in Glorious Fashion | The Houston Bayou Rats finished things off in style today at The Rats' Nest.
Cleveland got a terrific performance from left fielder Jeremy Beasley, but it wasn't enough to beat the Houston Bayou Rats. Houston won the The Rats' Nest contest, 6-5. Beasley was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He was 3-4 with a home run, a triple, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs. Houston is now riding a 5-game win streak.
The Bayou Rats got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Christian Clark. For the game, Clark went 1 for 1 with a double. In the bottom of the tenth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 8th double of the season gave Houston a 6-5 lead.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Clark.
