| Dye, Redbirds Get 4-0 Win | The Rochester Redbirds got a good effort from starter Vaughn Dye in defeating the Chicago Whales at Rochester Stadium. The final score was 4-0. Oscar Gimenez got the save, his 40th in 50 chances. Rochester goes to 80-68. The win puts them 2½ games up in their division.
Dye gave Rochester a solid start. The right-hander allowed no runs on 4 hits over 8 innings.
