 | Cleveland's Jim Bauch Named Top GL Manager Saturday, November 4th, 2034 Jim Bauch stepped before the microphone today and accepted his Gehrig League Manager of the Year award, thanking the whole Cleveland Spiders organization for making the 2034 season such a success. Bauch struggled to find the right words. "My father was a drill instructor in the military. He taught me that you have to work hard, set goals and accept responsibility for your actions. That's what the entire Cleveland organization did this year. My dedicated owner, coaching staff, hard-working and talented players and loyal front office all made this award possible. I thank them for it." And what a year it was. Bauch sparked the Spiders to a 95-67 record and a first in the Division 1 standings. |   |
