 | Shaw Scores RL Best Hurler Honors Sunday, November 5th, 2034 The Robinson League announced today that Matt Shaw has been chosen the Cy Young Award winner for 2034. The Rochester starter had everything working for him this past season as he breezed to a 19-3 record. In his award-winning season Shaw crafted a 2.61 ERA in 231 innings with 236 strikeouts and 68 walks. Opposing batters hit .210 against him in his 34 starts. He received 11 first place votes out of a possible 12. Bob Cotton of the Hollywood Stars finished second in voting, while José López of the Oakland Oaks finished third with 1 first place vote.
