Sunday, August 27th, 2034
When Steve Balderas jogged in from the bullpen this season, opposing teams knew they were going to have a tough time putting up runs.

The Colorado Springs Gangsters reliever turned in a dominant campaign and has been named the Sub League 1 Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2034.

His award-winning season saw the bullpen ace get 1 save in 31 relief appearances, 45 strikeouts in 52.2 innings and only 27 walks. He had a record of 1 win and 2 losses to go with his 1.71 ERA.

"I hope I can pitch like this every year," he said.

He received 11 first place votes out of a possible 12. Shoichi Fukuda of the Thunder Bay Lightning finished second in voting, while Buddy Robertson of the Colorado Springs Gangsters finished third.
