X Giants Get Past Boston for 2-1 Win
|
Miami starter Adrian Dunn had a strong outing against the Boston Beaneaters at South End Grounds. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 2-1 win. Steve Henry finished to wrap up his 6th save. The win leaves Miami with a record of 13-13.
Clinton Smith made it 2-1, Miami, in the top of the ninth when he hit a sacrifice fly. It was a big at-bat in the X Giants win.
"Both teams played hard," said Miami manager Christian Tregillis.
