Getting an impressive start from Karl Jacoby, Cleveland beat Philadelphia by the score of 5-1. Jacoby, now 11-12, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 5, walking 1, and allowing 1 earned run. At 59-98, the Spiders find themselves in last place in the Division 1.
