| Victory Pushes X Giants Record to 63-54 | The Miami X Giants topped the Seattle Pilots, 7-2, in Gehrig League action at Elian Gonzalez Field. The player of the game was Miami pitcher Juan Gonzáles. With the win over Seattle, the X Giants improved to 63-54.
Marcos Uribe, who is tied for 5th in the GL in triples with 4, helped out the Miami cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a 2-run home run. For the game, the first baseman was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
"When this team comes together and plays the way we can, we can compete with anyone," said Gonzáles. "I think we're going to keep proving that."
