The Spiders got a big at-bat from third baseman Royce Roberson. For the game, Roberson went 1 for 3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Cleveland a 2-0 lead.
