| Victory Pushes Spiders Record to 71-49 | Ronnie Dunham helped his team muscle past the Boston Beaneaters, 8-2. In the game, the Cleveland right fielder went 3-3 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The first-place Spiders, at 71-49, now lead their division by 5 games.
The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fourth when Dunham hit a run-scoring single. It propelled the Spiders into the lead, 2-1.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Dunham said.
