| X Giants Fall Short, 5-4, at Philadelphia | Vince Owen helped his team muscle past the Miami X Giants, 5-4. In the game, the Philadelphia third baseman went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The Quakers bumped their record to 80-64 with this latest triumph.
Owen had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the third inning, when he hit a 2-run double. The Quakers went on to win.
