| Redbirds Bump Off Whales, 5-3 | Fans who gathered at Rochester Stadium saw a good contest between the Rochester Redbirds and Chicago Whales.
The Rochester Redbirds topped the Chicago Whales by the score of 5-3, with the largest share of the credit going to catcher Rick Pierce.
