Beaneaters Win in Glorious Fashion
The home squad pulled out a thrilling walk-off win at South End Grounds today.

The Boston Beaneaters picked up a win at South End Grounds, knocking off the Hollywood Stars, 5-3. On the mound for Boston was left-hander Lou Murray, who played a pivotal role in the win. Boston reliever Adam Laursen picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Júlio Román shouldered the loss.

Boston won the game in the bottom of the 14th inning. With one out and Steve Cahill on the mound for Hollywood, center fielder Demetrio Coriolano hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Beaneaters fans to their feet.

Murray called the triumph "a good team win."

The win boosts the Beaneaters to 34-22. The loss puts the Stars at 26-28.
