Pilots Win at Hollywood, 7-1
|
Seattle used a superb performance from starting pitcher Ramón Chávez to down the Hollywood Stars, 7-1. The 5th-place Stars have lost 4 consecutive games.
Chávez contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the sixth. With the bases loaded, he hit a 2-run double. It was one of the critical at-bats that helped Seattle get the win.
"It's a mindset," said Chávez. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
